The most important is the Lenape (aka "Delaware") language. This historically important language (or a language derived from it) was the first native tongue heard by the earliest European explorers of the East Coast.   • My very favorite site is the Usborne Books at Home website for consultants only! I've gotten terrific parenting, literacy, and business tips here, and developed friendships I treasure. But I can't post the link, sorry!
